Introduction to Enrichment

This class supports and extends the notion that the provision of enrichment should be viewed by all animal care workers as having equivalent importance as the provision of food, water and shelter to the animals in our care. The class establishes the components of an enrichment program, the approval process, and questions that should be considered before the provision of any enrichment. Enrichment, animal and keeper safety, and the basics of data collection and analysis are topics which are highlighted in this class.
